My name is Tate Miller. I am a third year business management student at the University of Louisville pursuing a bachelor's degree. Here I am in the honors program and also working towards minors in marketing and administration. After I obtain my bachelor's I will begin a master in healthcare administration at the University of Kentucky.
Ever since I was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2020 I have had a passion to help people in the hospital setting. With my degree I hope to be able to make changes that cause a positive impact on families and nurses to give them a better experience than I have had.
I have previously worked at the retail store Ross Dress for Less and currently volunteer at my church leading a high school group of about 25 guys. These experiences have given me leadership, interpersonal, and organization skills while preparing me to work in high-stress situations. I hope to pursue a co-op or internship in the near future that'll allow me to get the hands-on-experience in the real work setting. Allowing me to be able to continue learning while applying my academic knowledge and gained skills.
